Here is some helpful travel information to help you best enjoy your trip to DenFur.
Traveling by Plane
If you choose to fly into the Denver International Airport, you will make your way to baggage claim via the underground train (this is free.) After picking up your luggage, start to make your way downtown. From there you have a few options to make your trip to the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel:
Passengers who have requested rides through Uber or Lyft should follow the designated signs for ground transportation then exit the terminal through doors 506-510 (west side) and 507-511 (east side) on Level 5 near baggage claim. After you exit the building, proceed to Island 5 to meet your driver.
Please keep in mind when using a rideshare service you may only be picked up in the designated area of Level 5.
- Wait to request your ride until after you’ve claimed your luggage at baggage claim or have arrived on Level 5.
- Please use the designated crosswalks to access Island 5 and be aware of vehicle traffic in the area.
- Rideshare drivers are not allowed to solicit customers and payment is made through the mobile app.
- Rides may only be requested through the mobile apps.
- Before you get into a rideshare vehicle, make sure the license plate, car make and model, and driver name match what is in the app.
The A Line commuter train, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), offers convenient transportation between DIA and Downtown Denver
Once you've retrieved your luggage, you will then make your way to the train. There will be signs present that can help you make sure that you are headed in the right direction. You will then board the train to Denver Union Station. Upon arriving, you will make your way to the front of the station. From here you can choose between taking Uber / Lyft -or- the Free mall ride bus that will take you up and down the 16th Street Mall. This bus will stop at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel on the corner of 16th and Court.

Local Places to Eat
Feeling hungry? You're in luck! DenFur is located right next to the 16th St Mall, and it has a free mall shuttle that makes trips to and from the hotel.
There are also plenty of places to eat right across the street from the hotel and here are some of our favorites: Noodles and Company ($), The Delectable Egg-Dine-In ($$), Zoup! ($$), the Yardhouse ($$$) and more! For those that need to have that morning coffee there is a Starbucks across the street. We recommend checking out the Denver Pavilions for a full list of places to grab a tasty bite!
